I'm Adela :)
I’m a passionate designer with a love for creating visually stunning work and a deep appreciation for the advertising world. My sharp eye for detail and versatile skill set allow me to bring meaningful value to every team and project I contribute to.
My journey began in-house at Coca-Cola Amatil, before transitioning to the fast-paced world of advertising agencies. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible brands and more so incredible people. A few snapshots of my experience include:

Designer for the L’Oreal Paris NZ account (L’Oreal Paris, Maybelline, La-Roche Posay, Garnier and NYX) to design all the retail and brand assets for their New Zealand market. This role allowed me to forge strong client relationships, working one day a week in their offices.

When the pandemic brought changes, I pivoted into CXM and tech as a digital designer, with clients such as ANZ bank, Spark (NZ’s national teleco) and Tourism New Zealand. This period was transformative—not just for me but also for the agency. I rapidly upskilled, delivering on ambitious promises, and introduced a new revenue stream by coding email campaigns. This work helped secure a digital department for the agency.

As one of the few digital designers in a newly merged network, I became a hybrid designer, combining my print and digital expertise to service the wider network, which included agencies focused in CXM, Shopper, Retail and Brand.

After relocating to Sydney in October 2023, I joined an indie agency, embracing a nimble environment where every day brings something new—from art direction and design to finished art, pitches, and even AI research. My day to day is none the same.
I have been based in the vibrant city of Auckland, NZ – until deciding to make a move to the “big smoke” Sydney in October 2023. I live with my partner and dog-child Tilly. I like to travel the world with an itinerary focused around food, enjoy a great psychological thriller but can tolerate a rom-com now and again, a loyal follower of the New York Times Reader’s Choice book list, and am still looking for a great knitting circle (hit me up if you know one).
